Galaxy Burger

This place is out of this world!
Galaxy Burger has it all for space lovers, foodies, and video game players! Just off Veterans Memorial Blvd in Killeen, there is a bright green alien standing out front of the building awaiting customers. As soon as you step inside you are greeted by a plethora of nerdy memorabilia from Star Wars to Harry Potter. The middle of the restaurant is set up like a cafeteria for large groups or friendly individuals to sit together and enjoy their food. On either side of the restaurant, there are bright yellow booths to choose from for a more intimate dining experience.
Aesthetic
There is a cereal bar available at the back of Galaxy Burger where you can mix and match your favorite cereal flavors made to order. Each table has a QR code for the convenience and sanitary option of looking at the menu on your phone. A friendly server will take your order when you are ready. Also, it has arcade games such as Pac-Man, Mortal Combat, and more available to play for free while you’re waiting for your order or after you have finished. The video games are my kids’ favorite part about going to Galaxy Burger. So aesthetically speaking this burger place knows exactly how to entertain and decorate. The food though.
Food
The menu offers tacos, chicken strips, cereal, and unique burgers. Burgers range from simple to extravagant. You can order a plain cheeseburger like any other burger place or you can be adventurous. For example, my favorite burger has one patty, chili, melted cheese, and seasoned fries on top. There is also a food challenge if you have the appetite for it – the challenge includes eating a double bacon cheeseburger with chicken breast hot dog, jalapenos, on grilled cheese buns, 1 guisada, 1 chicken fajita, 1 puffy taco, ½ pound of chili cheese fries, ½ a pound of onion rings, 3 hot wings, and a bowl of cereal… wow that’s a lot of food. If you can eat all of that within an hour’s time by yourself you win a prize. If you can’t finish in time you must pay for that feast.
